Short Springs State Natural Area is a 420-acre preserve just outside Tullahoma known for waterfalls, wooded trails, streams, and impressive spring wildflowers. Its interconnected trail system leads visitors to Machine Falls, Adams Falls, and Busby Falls, along with the Laurel Bluff and Wildflower Loop trails. The mix of waterfalls and forest scenery makes it one of the area's best spots for a few hours of hiking and exploring. Parking is extremely limited, so weekday and off-peak visits are recommended.
