The Getaway On Ranger Creek
Deep in the Good Kind of Nowhere
The Getaway on Ranger Creek is a Tennessee glamping property in Coalmont, set on 18 acres of the South Cumberland Plateau. The five units include a glamping dome, three rental cabins, and a glamping tent, each with its own character and its own view into the woods.
The property sits in the middle of Tennessee's best hiking country, with 90+ miles of trails and 15+ waterfalls within easy reach. Greeter Falls is about 12 minutes away, Grundy Forest about 22, and Fall Creek Falls roughly an hour northeast. The Caverns in Pelham is about 30 minutes out, and Chattanooga is about an hour south.
Guests can choose from the Glamping Dome (sleeps four, full kitchen, ranked #7 in The Dyrt's 2024 Glampy Awards); the Porch House Cabin (sleeps four, with a 370-square-foot covered deck spread across three levels); the Nordic Spruce Cabin (sleeps two, west-facing for sunsets, wildflower garden out front); the Scandinavian Cabin (sleeps two, fully renovated in 2026); and the Glamping Tent with Deck (sleeps two, with electric and a nearby bathhouse).
