The Pepsi Machine

Tucked away in a quiet Wayne County field stands one of Tennessee’s strangest roadside oddities, an old Pepsi machine attached to a lone light pole, with no explanation of how it got there or why it exists. The machine doesn’t work and isn’t stocked, but its strange placement has earned it a reputation as a “liminal” landmark that leaves everyone curious.

The machine sits on private property, so please do not enter the field. If you’d like a photo, admire it from the road over the fence and gate.
